R Stevens, of Auckland, have been chosen as New Zealand delegates to the tenth international student conference to be held at the University of Laval. Quebec (P.A.) The Rev. K. O. Bathurst, vicar of Rangiora. has been appointed rural dean of North Canterbury by the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A K Warren).

Mr E. L. Satherley was ejected to the council of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society at a meeting of the society’s council last evening.
