Mr lan Gebbie, of Christchurch. has been appointed consultant in surgery to the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Mr A. G. Kemp, a school inspector in the Department of Education in Wellington, has been appointed an inspector in the Canterbury district. Before he was an inspector in Wellington. Mr Kemp was Director of Education in Tonga Mr P. Menzies, of Christchurch. and Mr ’V. R Stevens, of Auckland, have been chosen as New Zealand delegates to the tenth international student conference to be held at the University of Laval. Quebec (P.A.) The Rev. K. O. Bathurst, vicar of Rangiora. has been appointed rural dean of North Canterbury by the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A K Warren).
Mr E. L. Satherley was ejected to the council of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society at a meeting of the society’s council last evening.
