Sitiiipuliate is expected to leave Takamini tomorrow night for New Plymouth where he will contest the Calltex Gold Cup on Wednesday. Afterwards he will go on to Trewtham for the Autumn Handicap, of two miles, on Saturday week. Stipulate is prepared by C. M. Jillings who left yesterday for Masterton where he has Prince Argon engaged in the Golden Shears Handicap on Saturday. On Sunday, Jillings intends to return home and on Tuesday he will go to New Plymouth. After New Plymouth. Jillings will carry on to Trentham where he will have Prince Argon as well as Stipulate engaged. Cadiz Wins At Santa Anita (N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) ARCADIA (California), February 28. Cadiz, a New Zealandbred gelding, closed wath a rush in the straight yesterday to pull away for a three lengths and a half victory at Santa Anita in the Christopher J. Fitzgerald Handicap. With the veteran Johnny Longden riding, Cadiz was not burned on the downhill! portion of the course but came to the outside entering the main track and shot into the lead in the last sixteenth.
