“The Press" Special Service TIM ABU. February 26 About 14,000 sheep were yarded at the Geraldine adult ewe fair. For the most part the sheep came forward in good condition, showing few effects of the dry . weather which haa been experienced in South Canterbury the last three months. The auction was followed by a large number of farmers, and overall the demand was steady, with values slightly better than those at the Pleasant Point ewe fair a week ago. Values were: annual draft four-year-old ewes: to 4M. Annual draft four and five-year-old ewes: best. 36s to 425; medium. 38s to 335. and inferior. 18s to 235.
