Carpenter Gaoled On 13 Charges
( N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. Feb 20 A New Plymouth foreman carpenter, Douglas Keith Beale, aged 31. was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment by Mr A. W. Yortt, SM in the New Plymouth Magistrate’s Court today on each of eight charges of buglary four of shop breaking with intent to commit a crime and one of shop breaking The prison terms are to be concurrent. Beale pleaded guilty to the charges at a previous sitting of the Court.
