TEEN-AGE BALLET DANCERS

S.L Company To Tour Melbourne ( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. The South Island ballet company has accepted an invitation to appear at the Melbourne Moornba Festival in March, the company’s manager, Mr G. Kane, said today. The 30 members of the company will be under the direction of Mrs M. Perfect, choreographer and founder of the company. The average age of the members is 16. This will be the second tour to Australia by the company, which has the distinction of being the only touring ballet group of teen-agers in New Zealand or Australia.

Arrangements are also under way for an appearance at the Ballarat Festival. North Island audiences will probably see the company later this year.
