CANBERRA, February 6. Australia’s net farm income in 1961-62 was tentatively estimated at £435m about £32m below last year’s figure, the Minister for Primary Production (Mr Adermann) said yesterday. Mr Adermann said this was caused by a decline in the gross value of production and a slight increase in farm costs. “Current indications are that farm production costs will show a significantly smaller increase in 1961-62 than in recent years,’’ he said.
