The British actor. Sir Cedr:c Hardwicke, aged 68. was taken to hospital in Hollywood last night with what was described as a respiratory infection. Doctors at the Cedars of Lebanon Hospital described his condition as fair.
Trade Ship.— Fine bone china rubs shoulders with massive disc ploughs, and jewellery shares space with aluminium tubing aboard the Australian trade mission ship Chandpara, which sailed from Melbourne yesterday for South-east Asian ports.—Melbourne. February 3.
