MANY CARAVANS LEAVE BEACHES

Most camping grounds at North Canterbury beaches will take on a deserted look today after the exodus of family caravans yesterday at the end of the last week-end of the school holidays. Almost all beaches reported a quiet period in the camps with only a few caravans left at each.
