Struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers reaped a quick dividend from big spending this week when they beat Tottenham, 3-1, in the English Football League today. Wolves, near the bottom ot the table, spent more than £50.000 for P. McFarland and C. Crowe and both scored in then first outing with their new club today The win lifted Wolves a little from the relegation zone, but it was a set-back for the chamf>ionship hopes of Tottenham, ast year’s double winners.
