60 Extras In Total Of 373 (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 4. Grafton, with 373 against Eden, hit the biggest total of the day in the Auckland senior club cricket competition on Saturday. The total, however, included 60 extras, of which 47 were byes. This was due largely to a rough patch on the pitch which made the ball rear awkwardly for the wicketkeeper. The outstanding innings of the day was by the Auckland selector, R. Farman, who made 77 for Papatoetoe in 90 minutes. He hit 10 boundaries. Scores In the four senior fixtures which started on Saturday were:— Cornwall 139, Eastern 234 for nine wickets (J. Carson 62, Renwick six for 69). Grafton 373 (S. Kohlasse 69. H. Howarth 61). Eden 74 for four wickets. Papatoetoe 219 (R. Farman 77). University 97 for two wickets (J. Morrison 52 not out). Suburbs 280 for eight declared (D. Taylor 87), North Shore 66 for six wickets.
