Tournament Dates
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 11. Tournament dates for the coming tennis season were released at today’s meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association's management committee. The Auckland invitation tournament dates—January 16 to 20—are still under discussion, and have not yet been approved. The New Zealand tennis championships will be held at Christchurch from January 6 to January 13. Major Tourneys Other major tourneys are: South Island championships: Timaru, December 30January 4. North Island championships: Palmerston North, January 2-5. New Zealand junior championships: Auckland, January 22-27.
