Uniteci Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund representative in Sydney and Food and Agriculture Organisation liaison offier of the Freedom from Hunger campaign in Australia and New Zealand, before he returned yesterday to his headquarters in Sydney. The Freedom from Hunger campaign was an effort, he explained, to develop necessities in the underdeveloped countries of the world and to intensify such work where it was already in progress. “Research institutes and laboratories still have much to do in adapting scientific and technical advances to existing conditions in particular countries, said Mr Bartels.
