Position For Dr. Banda
Copyright) LONDON, September 2. The Colonial Office announced today that Dr. Hastings Banda, leader of the Malawi Congress Party, has been appointed Minister of National Rescuroes and Local Government in Nyasaland. In ascendance with instructions received from the Queen, it was stated, the Governor of Nyasaland (Str Glyn Jones) has appointed Dr Banda, Mr M. W. K Chiume. Mr A. W. Bwanausi, Mr C. Cameron and Mr M. Mk»nd*wire to be members of the Executive Council.
