Pre-Lamb Shearing
Sir, —I quite agree with Mr Davis that it is cruel to shear sheep in the winter. I know it is often cold in November, but not so cold as in winter months. The farmers are so greedy after money, wanting to shear them twice yearly.—Yours, f. McLoughlin. September 1, 1961.
