DEATH ON MOUNTAIN
Resuscitation Fails
(N.Z. Press Association) N. PLYMOUTH, Sept. 3. A woman aged 28 collapsed and died on Mount Egmont today. > Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation was applied for about an hour and a half without success. She was: Miss Nola May Bolland. of Raumati beach. Miss Bolland, who was with a party of 36 skiers from Wellington, was found by two of her party lying face down on the track leading from the plateau above the Stratford Mountain House to the Manganui gorge. The driver of the party’s coach, Mr E. Pragnall. Porirui, arrived several minutes later and ’began mouth-to-mouth resuscitation which he continued until the arrival of Dr. D. U. Steven and an actificial resuscitator.
