Better Rangiora ’Phone Service

WELLINGTON, September 1 Within a few months, telephone cabling will be started in Rangiora—first in the area to the west, and then over other areas This will improve the service generally This information was given today in the House of Representatives bv the Postmaster-General (Mr Kinsella), in reply to a question by Mr H. L. Pickering (Government. Hurunui). Mr Pickering asked whether the people of Rangiora could expect any improvement in the availability of telephones and ip the toll service for the Rangiora area “By the end of next month more toll circuits will be provided to Christchurch.” said Mr Kinsella "This will give a first-class toll service to the people of Rangiora.”
