Rod Laver, one of Australia’s top left-handed tennis players, will eriously consider turning professional if he wins at Wimbledon if the right offer is forthcoming. Laver, after a sensational 30 minute 6-3. 6-4 victory over Luis Ayala (Chile) in the West ot England championships a>t Bristol today, said: "If I am successful I would hope for an offer to turn professional and, if it was good enough, must seriously consider it”
