CHALLENGES FOR SHIELD
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 13. Auckland, holders of the Ranfurly Shield, have accepted eiffht challenges in the coining season. Because of a full Auckland season. Canterbury's challenge has not been accepted. Challenges accepted by Auckland in order of playing dates are from Hawke's Bay. King Country, Counties. Otago. Southland, Wellington, Waikato, and North Auckland. The first match will be on August 12.
