Lucky Ship

The new owners of the m.v. Toa have decided no change will be made in the name of the vessel. This was announced yesterday by one of the directors of the company. Mr C. T. Williams, who said that “Toa" as a noun meant “warrior” and as an adjective “courageous” or “masculine.” The other shareholders thought this a very worthy description and they could see no need for a change, particularly as the vessel had achieved such a fortunate record, free from any mishap, under the name of Toa.
