INDUCTION OF NEW VICAR AT CHEVIOT
Parish Welcome To The Rev. J. Nelson The Rev. J. Nelson, the new vicar of St John’s Church of England. Cheviot is no stranger to his new parish. Seven years ago he was a teacher at the Cheviot School. Several references to this earlier connexion with the district were made by speakers at Mr Nelson s induction and welcome "n Friday evening The Ven. P Kirkham. Archdeacon of Marlborough, conducted the induction service, and the lessons were read by the Rev. R. Ford, vicar of Havelock.
