VEH VICAR FOR HORORATA
In spite of heavy rain, there was a large congregation in St. John’s Church, Hororata, recently, when the Ven. Archdeacon H. M. Cocks, Archdeacon of Christchurch, in the absence of the bishop, instituted the Rev. B. R. Carrell vicar of the Hororata Parochial District. The archdeacon was assisted by the Rev. T. A. McKenzie and the Rev. G. Fitzgerald, and Messrs J. C. Price and R. H. Ballach, church wardens.
