Investments At Addington

An increase of £156,229 5s was shown in total investments for the three days of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s cup meeting, which concluded at Addington on Saturday. On and off-course figures showed substantial increases on all three days of the meeting when compared with the corresponding three days of • four-day cup carnival last year. On Saturday on-course investments amounted to £105.052 15s, including £11,701 15s on the double, compared with £89,650 last year. Off-course the turnover was £97,156 15s, compared with £77,806 ss. Total investments on-course were £473,965 ss, compared with £413.173, an increase of £60.792. Off-course the total was £403,753 ss, compared with £318,316 ss, an increase of £85,437. The grand total was £887,718 10s, compared with £731,489 ss, an Increase of £156,229 ss.
