IXIAS, OR TOAD FLAX.—

These lovely South African bulbs are among the best of the range of minor bulbs for the late spring. They have a wide range of colour, including the lovely green—a colour seldom to be found in hardy bulbs. Other striking shades are white, yellow, pink and red, with many intermediate combinations. They also make excellent pot plants for the window—half a dozen bulbs in a five or six inch pot.
