Statement On Harbour Facilities Denied

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 23.

Mr P. J. Scott, a Government nominee on the Meat Board, today denied making the statement at the annual conference of the meat and wool section of Federated Farmers that:—“lnstead of spending money on cotton mills, the Government should build some harbour facilities and freezing works." Mr Scott said the remark was made by another delegate.
