GREERS ROAD SEALING

Request By High

School

The interim board of governora of Bumside High School decided on Tuesday to ask the Waimairi County Council to tidy up and seal Greers road outside the new school. Reporting on development at the school, the headmaster (Mr C. Cross) said the manual trainin’ block would be ready for use in about three weeks. This block contains a kitchen, woodwork room, drawing room, and metalwork room. Equipment was complete in some sections, he said, and it was expected that the rest would arrive soon. The tennis courts, said Mr Cross, were now being levelled and sealed, and should be opened in a matter of weeks.
