SALVATION ARMY CAMPAIGN
Work In Sydenham And Woolston
In Christchurch at present are 10 women Salvation Army cadets, who as part of their training while at the army’s college in Wellington, are conducting their own campaign in Sydenham and Woolston. It is the first time that Christchurch has been chosen as a centre.
Men .from the same college are engaged in similar activities in Palmerston North. The activities include open-air meetings, visiting institutions and giving concerts.
The principal of the training college (Lieutenant-Colonel J. Wells) will join them at the week-end. He is at present in Palmerston North.
