(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, June 21. Results of today’s county cricket matches were:— At Tunbridge Wells. Kent 391 for eight declared beat Sussex 69 and 269 (K. Suttle 55. G. Cooper 43, D. Halfyard six for 122) by an innings and 53 runs.

At Northampton. Northamptonshire 494 for eight declared beat Cambridge University 212 and 172 (A. Lewis 50; M. Scott six for 57) by an innings and 110 runs. At Cardiff, Somerset. 228 and 288 for nine declared (B. Langford eight for 48) beat Glamorgan 190 and 15» by 172 runs.

At Manchester. Lancashire 214 and six for 234 declared (P. Marner 85. R. Barber 43 not out) drew with ’Middlesex, 170 and five for 161 (D. Bennett 83 not out. R. White 44 not out).

At the Oval. Yorkshire 434 for four declared and 4 for one beat Surrey 123 and 312 (A. Parsons 43, M. Stewart 78, K. Barrington 62. A. Lock 44, F. Trueman seven for 78) by nine wickets.

At Derby. Derbyshire 304 for eight declared and 97 for two (I. Hall 49 not out) beat Worcestershire 291 and 109 (G. Dews 48, D. Morgan 4 for nine) by eight wickets. At Bristol, Gloucestershire 226 and 234 for five (M. Young 60. D. Hawkins 51. R. Nichols 41) beat Warwickshire 324 for four declared and 128 <D. Smith six for 37) by five wickets.

At Loughborough, Leicestershire 245 and 258 for seven declared <M. Watson 68> drew with Nottinghamshire 192 and 289 for seven (M. Hill 80, C. Poole 78)

Brentford, Oxford University 285 and 258 for three (D. Green 113. J. Burid 109 not out) beat Essex 356 for nine declared and 186 for six declared (L. Savill 81) by seven wickets.
