I.L.O. Vote On Apartheid

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright)

GENEVA,

June 21

The International Labour Organisation conference in Geneva yesterday voted to set up a standing committee to investigate complaints of discrimination in employment. The South African Government delegates to the conference abstained from voting. The South African workers' and employers’ delegates voted for the resolution, British United Press reported.

The vote came after severe criticism of apartheid throughout the three-week-old conference.
