M.K. Manufacturers Have Bad Year

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. June 21.

In what was described by the directors as a most unsatisfactory year, M.K. Manufacturers, Ltd, Auckland, and its subsidiary incurred a net loss of £35.574 during the year ended December 31. In the previous year the company had earned a net profit of £BlO9, compared with £6595 in 1957.

The directors have decided to pass the dividend for the year under review. In 1958 a dividend of 10 per cent, was paid, absorbing £BOOO. Latest result was reached after provision of £7091 for depreciation, an increase of £1733. No provision was made for taxation, which took £BOl4 the year before.
