NO FURTHER BID FOR H. C. SLEIGH

Mr Hamilton Sleigh, chairman and managing director of H. C. Sleigh, Ltd, said today that no further offer or approach had been made to his company by Ampol Petroleum, Ltd. No offers or approaches had been received from any other source. Rumours were current in stock exchange circles late last week that Ampol Petroleum had made a further approach to H. C. Sleigh.
