The Herd comprises: 23 Friesian and Friesian-Ayrshire Cross Cows. 3 Friesian and Friesian-Ayr-shire Cross Heifers. 26 These cows range from 2nd to 6th calvers, the majority being young cows. They are in calf to a Purebred Friesian Bull, and are DUE AUGUST 20 to SEPTEMBER. The herd AVERAGED 5 GALLONS OF MILK for the last season and RETURNED OVER 9000 LB of BUTTERFAT under extremely dry conditions.
