At Preston's Road

Since live hare coursing was abolished by Parliament the Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club has twice changed its headquarters and is now established at Marshland Domain, Preston’s road. The track at the domain is oval, of 440 yards. Races are over distances of 476 yards. 260 yards and 680 yards.

Tomorrow and Monday the New Zealand championships will be held at Preston’s road, with entries from both the North and South Islands. The main event tomorrow will be the championship flat, run in three heats, the first and second dogs entering the final. The New Zealand hurdles event on Monday should be a spectacular race, with Amigo, the winner two years ago. the favourite.
