YOUTH RALLY FOR CHRISTCHURCH
The Christchurch branch of the Youth Committee of the National Council of Churches, will hold a youth rally on June 12 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
The purpose of the rally is to foster relations between different denominations. Between eight and 10 churches are expected to be represented.
The Rev. L. V. Willing, of the Shirley Methodist Church, will act as chairman. Archdeacon E. A. Gowing, of St. Mary’s Church. Merivale, and Mr D. Laugesen will be the guest speakers. The organist will be Mr J. Carter, of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church.
