FIRE DESTROYS SHED

Storage Building At Templeton

A large L-shaped building used for the storage of grain and implements was destroyed by fire just after 5 p.m. yesterday. The building, in Trents road, Templeton, was owned by a trotting trainer, D. G. Jones. Firemen who arrived at the blaze about 5.10 p.m. found that the fire had a good bold. One machine from the Sockburn fire station and a Paparua Council Council’s tender attended the fire. It was not known what the building contained. Mr Jones is at present away from Christchurch.
