April Dry Month In Manawatu
(New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON N.. April 29. April, 1960, may well go down as one of the driest months in Palmerston North since the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research began keeping records in 1929. The total of ,64in of rain recorded during April to date is a record low figure, being equalled only in March, 1930.
