Australian Driver’s Challenge

(New Zealana Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Jan. 25.

The Australian motor racing veteran, Lou Kingsley, aged 71, has issued a challenge to the youngest member of the Southland Sports Car Club to race over the three laps of the Teretonga track at the meeting on February 6. Kingsley, the present Australian saloon car champion, has a long list of successes on both sides of the Tasman.

He will be driving an Australian Holden, the same car he had at the Lady Wigram Trophy meeting. Another driver competing at the meeting claims to be 75 years old.
