Polo AMERICAN TEAM TO VISIT N.Z.
(Neto Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 25. An American polo team of four players representing the Santa Barbara Polo Club, California, will visit New Zealand this summer, according to advice received by the secretary of the New Zealand Polo Association (Mr R. B. Lorigan, of Cambridge). It will include the famous Arthur Ronny Skene. Other members of the team are D. Moore (San Francisco), W. Allen (La Golla), and W. V. Powell (Santa Barbara).
New Zealand’s offer of £4OO towards internal expenses has been accepted, and the team is expected to arrive by air about, Mar ch 3.
