Award For Power Engineer

(New Zealand Press Association) ROTORUA, Sept. 23. The annual award for the outstanding paper presented to the conference of the Electric Supply Authority Engineers’ Institute was to Mr S. E. Slatter, of the Springs-Ellesmere Electric Power Board. Mr Slatter’s paper was titled “Some Notes on Costs Relating to Distributing Systems and Connected Plant.” In announcing the award, the chairman of the award committee, Mr A. Buckingham, of North Canterbury. said that Mr Slatter’s paper was a most creditable effort, demonstrating that he had put a good deal of research and study into it.
