Through the British principals, all the latest designs, togethei with others from the Continent and elsewhere, would be available. In addition, it was proposed to encourage local designs having New Zealand and South Sea Island motifs, which would assist in developing an export market, said a company statement

This should prove another useful outlet for radiata pine. : Shares in the new company being formed would be held 50 per cent by United Empire and 50 per cent by the United Kingdom company. The approval of the New Zealand Government to the new venture bad been obtained. A number of skilled personnel vould be brought from Great Britain and they would train the local staff.
