SPRING FLOWER SHOW

Horticultural Society At Lyttelton

There was a satisfactory number of entries at tie spring flower show of the Lyttelton Horticultural Society, which opened in the Methodist Hall yesterday. In the open class, Mrs R. Parkinson won the trophy for the premier bloom, as well as Captain D. McLeish's trophy for most points. Mrs W. B. Stevenson won Mr A. Challis's tropny for the best bloom in the amateur section, and Mr G. A. C. Patience's trophy for most points. Mrs E. L. Harvey won the J D. Bundy cup for most points in the cut Hower section. Mrs R. K. Duckworth was the winner of Mr W. Morris’s trophy for most points in the decorative section, and Mrs L. Luxton won the trophy for the most outstanding exhibit in that section. In the children’s section. Mrs E. L. Harvey’s trophies were won by Margaret Newton and Helen Jenkinson.
