N.Z. ALPINE CLUB COMPETITION
Annual Photography Awards (New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 23. Winners of the New Zealand Alpine Club’s 1959 photographic competition, conducted by the Taranaki section, were announced today by the judges, Messrs Douglas Elliott and Harland Charters (New Plymouth). Lower (Auckland) 2, J. Rundle (Wellington) 3. Topical Class: A. M. Evans (Canterbury-Westland) 1, D. Cooper (Auckland) 2, W. B. Dorflinger (Taranaki) and J. E. Sanson (Taranaki) equal 3. Black and White Alpine Section: T. F. Langrish (Canterbury-Westland) 1, R. L. Mundell (Taranaki) 2, W. R. E. Wood (Southland) 3. Scenic: J. Rundel (Wellington) 1, J.
