HEAT WAVE AND BARE BACKS AT LORD S.—Spectators at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, last week, during the match between Middlesex and Yorkshire. Officials pointed out to the man in the photograph, and to others who removed their shirts to sit in the sun in comfort, that it was not the thing to undress at Lord’s. In spite of this, some spectators continued to dress—or undress—as they wished.
