A Chinese member of the crew of the liner Taiyuan had admitted having trussed the bodies of two Chinese in mattress covers, a Court was told todafy. The man, Yung King, aged 37, a carpenter, pleaded not guilty to having, on or about June 24, assisted the illegal entry of 1 an immigrant to Australia. Mr J. McCauley convicted Yung and sentenced him to six months imprisonment.

■ Later the third laundryman of the Taiyuan, Wong Kwong Yu. aged 41, was gaoled for one month for having assisted the illegal entry of an immigrant to Australia. He pleaded not guilty.
