Liberals In N.S.W. Depose Leader
(Rec. 8 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 17 The New South Wales Stale Parliamentary Liberal Party today deposed its leader (Mr P H. Morton). The Deputy Leader <Mr R. W. Askin) is the new leader. Mr Morton called the meeting after a demand by three party members on Tuesday for his immediate resignation. They claimed Mr Morton did not possess leadership qualities, and that he had not given sufficient attention to his position.
