The crowd of 45.W9 which Laneaster Park yesterday, is believed to be the biggest crowd ever to attend a midweek Bagby match to New Zealand. When the Untverstttes played Sooth. Arica to Wellington to 19SL the crowd at Athletic Park was estimated at 42.W9.

The gross gate receipts of £<5459 for yesterday’s game, are also believed to be the biggest for a week-day Rngby match.
