16 N.Z. Championship Awards (New Zealand Press Association! INVERCARGILL, May 13. At the annual Invercargill Poultry. Pigeon, Canary and Pet Club's show being run in conjunction with the Southland Agricultural and Pastoral Association s winter show today, 16 New Zealand championships and the same number of South Island championships were awarded: New Zealand championships were: Brown Leghorn, standard male: J. H. Lewis (Nelson). Black Orpington, standard female: J. J. Calvert (Oteramika) A.O.V. standard poultry, female: T. F. B. Bulling (Invercargill). Modern game pile, female: W. E. Gordon (Oamaru). Dragoon, female: B. T. Lawson (Invercargill). Tumbler, black, female: B. T. Lawson. Tumbler, bald headed, male: J. J. Calvert South Island championships:— Black Orpington: J. J. Calvert (Oteramika)'. Buff or cinnamon Orpington- W. S. Andrews (Pine Bush). Rhode Island Red: M. J. Neilson (Invercargill). Minorca: D. Mclnnes (Invercargill). Wynadotte. silver: R. O. King (Invercargill). Pekin bantam, A.0.C.: J. J. Calvert. O.E.G. bantam, spangle: E, W. B. Kirby (Dunedin). Nun pigeon: J. R. Nancarrow (Christchurch). Modena pigeon: N Boswell (Christchurch).
