AMATEUR BOUTS
All the contestants save one in the amateur wrestling bouts at the St. James’ Theatre last evening were from the Linwood Boys’ Club. Results were:— Fly-weight: R. Kavanagh beat B. Evans on points, no falls. Bantam-weight: P. Moore drew with W. Campbell, one fall each. Light-weight: B. Tallott beat B. Halligan on points, one fall each. Welter-weight: D. Crossen beat K. Aitken (Hornby) on points, no falls; G. Hobson drew with G. Wilson, no falls. |
