AUCKLAND GIN DISTILLERY

Work May Start In March (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 30. Sir Ernest Davis, chairman of the provisional directorate of the gin distilling company, said last night that the chief engineer for the interested United Kingdom companies. Mr A. Wilson, would now complete plans and specifications for the erection of the various plants in Auckland. It was hoped to make a start on the actual work in February or March next year. The plants were quite large undertakings, running into big figures. The proposal to build a gin distillery in Mountain road was approved by the Auckland City Council town planning committee yesterday.
