Jury Disagrees Ou Theft Charge (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 19. After a second trial in the Supreme Court at Auckland today, a jury failed to agree in the case of Frank Scott, aged 36. a workman, who was charged with the theft of diamond rings valued at £798. from the premises of John Patrick Newman, 308 Queen street, on the aftc-noon of March 5. The jury was also unable to agree on a second charge of unlawful conversion of a car, the property of Mutual Rentals, Ltd Mr Justice T. A. Gresson ordered a new trial.
