U.K. BUTTER MARKET
All Prices Down
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 2.
A weakness in the Danish position on the United Kingdom butter market has obliged the Danes to reduce their price* by 10s per cwt. Butter of all other origins, including New Zealand, has come down by a similar amount, reports the Dairy Products Marketing Commission. The drop brought New Zealand to 220 s per cwt ex store and Danish to 219 s c.i.f. or about 242 s landed cost. New Zealand butter has now fallen by 36s per cwt since January.
